It is here! May the 4th. AKA “May the 4th be with you!’ Star Wars Day. Looking for some family time with less stress? I think most of are now a days. Maybe take the day and enjoy watching a Star Wars film.
Star Wars has always offered escapism from life. It is not that life is not still happening and will be when a movie is over, but Star Wars has a way of bringing a smile to your face. If you subscribe to Disney Pluse, this is a good day. All nine films from the Skywalker arc are now on the popular streaming service.
With all that has been going on around the world as well as in homes everywhere, it is nice to be able to just simply deflate from the day and issues at hand with an old friend. Star Wars.
Star Wars: Episode I, The Phantom Menace
Star Wars Episode II, Attack of the Clones
Star Wars Episode III, Revenge of the Sith
Star Wars Episode IV, A New Hope
Star Wars Episode V, The Empire Strikes Back
Star Wars Episode VI, Return of the Jedi
Star Wars Episode VII, The Force Awakens
Star Wars Episode VIII, The Last Jedi
Star Wars Episode IX, The Rise of Skywalker
If that is not enough Star Wars stand alone movies “Rogue One” and my personal favorites “Solo: a Star Wars story” can be streamed.
Star Wars is timeless and can take you back to your childhood as soon as you see “A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away…..” appear on screen. In a time when families are closer than they have been in a long time, this could be a good break from the stress that can be caused by being so close for so long.
May the Force and 4th be with you!!!
